PROTECT PISGAH

Full Day Photo Tour

Pisgah National Forest is very dear to our hearts. It’s where 90% of our images are taken. The Protect Pisgah mission is to protect and clean sections of Pisgah National Forest that accumulate a lot of trash. The forest service is overwhelmed with the number of people visiting our national forests every year and Pisgah is no exception. It’s WNC Photo Tour’s way of giving back to the community and the park service.

WHO WE ARE – WHAT WE DO

Protect Pisgah is a small group of volunteers that meets quarterly at a location in Pisgah National Forest to pick up trash in areas that see a lot of human activity. We spend about 3-4 hours in one particular area removing as much trash as we possibly can.

We’re always looking for dedicated helpers who can commit to doing at least one clean-up event a year. If you can commit one day of the year to keeping our forests pristine, please send an email to J at info@wncphototours.com and we’ll add you to the group message! Bonus points if you have a truck!

We do a clean-up event in March, July, November, and January.
