Elk Viewing Photo Tour
This tour runs intermittently through winter and returns to daily excursions in the Spring through the end of Fall. We can’t wait to show you these magnificent animals and the beautiful valley they call home! This tour focuses less on learning photography and more on capturing shots of the elk. Not a photographer? No problem!

Half-day Tours
Custom Half-day Photo Tour
We’ll work directly with you to create a custom, private tour that is perfect for you and your needs. Together we’ll pick locations that fit your preferences and desired amount of hiking from none to a couple of miles. This is ideal for travelers looking to go off the beaten-path.

Asheville Mountain Portrait Photo Tours
When you book our Half-Day Portrait Photo Tour, we take you to epic mountain overlooks and other scenic locations where we take portraits of you and your loved one(s)! We offer couples portrait sessions or family portrait sessions that deliver professional photos and memories that will last a lifetime 🙂

Full-day Tours
Roan Highlands Tour
This is our personal favorite. The Roan Highlands offer some of the best views and photo opportunities found on this side of the country. With summer wildflowers, fall colors, winter snow, and Spring blooms, this is a great option for any season. We’ll spend five hours on location exploring the area and going over photography lessons. Mountain vistas, dense pine forests, wildflowers and wildlife ensure for great photos on this tour.
Duration: Eight hours
One Person: $295 | Two or more: $255/person
Hiking: Options from easy and short to moderate, with 4-mile option
Driving: approximately three hours roundtrip from Asheville
Full-day Custom Tour
This tour offers the most value and opportunity to learn. We’ll work directly with you to create a custom, private tour that is perfect for you and your needs. We’ll pick locations that interest you and have the desired amount of hiking. This is ideal for travelers looking to go off the beaten-path. We’ll visit several locations offering you more chances to get great photos and experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge.
